YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
WE HAVE ANSWERS.
IV Therapy is a method of administering, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream through intravenous infusion. It provides valuable nutrients to the body, bypassing the digestive system, and have been clinically proven to be more effective than oral supplements.
All vitamins and nutrients used are FDA approved and go through high levels if testing. Every IV therapy treatment is administered by a registered nurse and performed under a medical director. Before a client receives IV therapy, vital signs are recorded, and health history is evaluated. After the treatment ends, the client can resume most activities and daily responsibilities immediately; except for heavy lifting.
Every client is different, but our goal is to get every IV with one “stick”. To ease the discomfort, our registered nurses use a numbing medication, lidocaine, for each treatment ( if the client has no allergy.)
The benefits of IV therapy are felt with a single treatment. On average our clients visit 1-2 per week, depending on their goals.
We provide by use of a small catheter that we place directly into your vein. This allows us to hydrate you quicker and more efficiently than if you were to simply drink water orally. Yes, this does mean that we will be poking you with a needle. It is a small needle and a relatively small poke. Once we access your vein, the needle comes out and a plastic catheter is left in place in order to administer the fluid.
We are both firm believers that hydration via oral intake is vital. Our services are meant to help supplement your recovery process; they are not meant to replace oral hydration. That being said, IV hydration is effective much quicker than hydration via the oral route and that is what we want to provide. It’s a quicker way to help your body recover so you can get on your way.
As with any invasive procedure, there are always risks. Our employees have been trained to provide IV services in a way that minimizes the risk of infection to the IV site. We are liable for any infection that may occur. We provide our customers with the knowledge on how to treat that IV site post infusion and it is up to the customer to follow these instructions. We are also not responsible for any medical issues that may arise from using our services. A release form is filled put prior to an IV and it is up to the customer to fill this out truthfully to avoid any possible complication.
The whole process will take about 30-45 minutes to complete. There are a few necessary forms to fill out prior to the infusion and a quick medical screening is done pre-infusion to ensure our clients are safe. Sometimes it is necessary for our nurses to use a smaller needle and this can prolong that time it takes for your fluid to infuse.
